Does anyone have the links to his rants about being awesome in IT because he could "program printers"? That needs to get screencapped and added into that thread for sure. That stuff was classic. I'd hate to lose some of his claims, they were the best, ever. I think it was @PSX_Defector ripping him apart on those. But it was so long ago, I don't really remember.

Now email them and ell them that Linux is a Kernel, if not I'll bring this thread to their attention to correct you. I mean windows has a Kernel too right?
        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_kernel

Linux is a Kernel like Windows with a UI or GUI

Unix is much different except Apple OSX is written over top of a Unix Kernel. C'mon man WTF is wrong with you

Yes, and Windows is the OS, and the kernel is, well, the kernel. So you are beginning to understand.

Windows is not a kernel. You just established that Windows HAS a kernel, not that it IS a kernel.

You were getting closer, but got confused again. A kernel is a key component of any OS, but it isn't is not an OS. Wasn't this covered in link after link that you yourself referenced?

You don't know how the muting works. I'm the most muted person, but only two mute messages. It doesn't tell you when you have been muted.

And "using" Linux without understanding it means what? And, um, BSD is not even related to Linux.

And correct WHOM? You email them and you let us know the answer. Explain that you think that Linux is the OS and that Corel Linux is not and see what they say. And email BSD (there isn't even a thing called BSD, do you mean FreeBSD) and explain to them that THEY are now Linux because "you said so."

So let's get this straight. YOU say that Corel Linux, Linspire, Madrake (and BSD, LMAO) are NOT operating systems, and you want ME to email THEM and explain that YOU are an asshat and are confused? Do that yourself.

ANd you want me to email a bunch of people that don't exist... none of those, not a single one, is still in business, you know.

Know what. that you are an idiot? Yes, but they already knew. This isn't news. That you know less than anyone I've ever even heard stories of about IT? Yes, they know that too. Bragging that you don't even have the computer knowledge of a bad end user is a really weird thing to get excited about.

Just so we are clear... telling someone else to verify that you are wrong is admitting that you are wrong. If you had any confidence that there is any chance that you were even partially correct you would have contacted these sources yourself already. Asking anyone here to do it for you is just admitting that you made it all up. Asking us to do it to things that haven't existed in a decade is even more obvious that you already know that you have been found out.

His printer programming consultancy has been so busy that he hasn't had time to spin the vinyl recently.

No, they were PROGRAMMED. LOL. The funny part is you claiming that YOU program them, when you just mean "plugging them in and turning them on." Didn't we determine in that thread that you didn't even know what programming was and thought that normal usage of them was programming?

Of course their firmware was programmed. But there is no programming interface. That's the screen for selecting your paper size! It's not called programming when you set the IP address, paper size, refill the ink, etc.
