Thank you @scottalanmiller for that AMA session in Auburn.

Good timing. Glad that at least someone managed to be saved 🙂

Decades late for me. I did my time there from 1991 - 1993.

          Sorry 😞

This will suck, I'm assuming, because people equate the value of a college to its current status. Just like UCLA used to be garbage but people who graduated from there decades ago are now riding the wave of popularity as they are recently considered to be a good school. THe opposite, I assume, happens too.

They had someone come and do a presentation at a career fair at the local college when I was in highschool. The guy was a "CIO for a large company in the midwest." I can't remember the company he was working for but when you searched his name nothing really came up. His speech was about how great ITT Tech was and how it introduced him to so many opportunities.

A few of the technically inclined students talked to him after the presentation turns out he was a CIO for a manufacturer in the midwest that had 2 servers and ~50 desktops... I had been managing more at my internship. He was so proud of his SBS 2000 infrastructure, it was 2008, that was "highly available". That conversation clued me in to what ITT Tech really was.

I get the feeling that "and nothing of value was lost" is appropriate.

                          I'm guessing that is right!
