The book linked is "WLT: A Radio Romance"; Is that what you meant to link?
Yes, goes in depth on the problems down there in Ithaca.

@Mike-Ralston was ready to go to college around 14 but in NY, for example, that's not allowed. Both the high school laws forbid him not to be in high school and the SUNY campus rules forbid him to be on campus. So while he was ready for college at that age, the lack of ability to officially graduate from high school blocked him from going. Remember that there is no entrance requirement for the SUNY CC system, you get to prove yourself in classes rather than with entrance requirements. So "getting in" to college young means nothing (especially as the SUNY CC schools are harder than Cornell) other than that someone was willing to let you be on campus at that age and that some high school was willing to give up their funding to let you go. Other than that, it means zero as anyone can go to a decent college... anyone.

As long as they pay for it.

@scottalanmiller haha I've seen the commercials for that thing.
When you walk into a dark bathroom, the toilet bowl lights up with a dim light. So as to not blind the person entering, or anyone sleeping in the connected room.

So many thoughts, so few should be said!

I'd never seen that before.

It can be quite a surprise when you're a party guest at someone else's house. But they are actually kinda neat.

@RojoLoco Until you realize how nasty they have to be.

Well, you don't have to touch it... it has a motion sensor. But I certainly wouldn't want to change the batteries.
-
@RojoLoco I wouldn't mind it, if it didn't require batteries / cleaning with a pressure washer.
Imagine trying to clean the bowl with that thing in there, you'd have to remove it every time, and then clean it on top of it.
I'm sorry learn to use the limited night time light that there is to find your way to the toilet.

Don't know Greenlight. Is this before or after the church seized our home to turn it into a baptismal?

So turns out the church isn't getting their own right hand turning lane, but instead two center left lanes from either direction are being installed.
In either case (it's taken Greenlight) to get our region finalized as customers weren't registering for service. Finally our area is being finalized. So I just have to schedule a day to get service installed (some time soon) and will have Gig internet!
Static IP's are only $5/month if I want it!

@DustinB3403 is Greenlight its own carrier or a service from someone else?
