Okay, kudos to Sean (the main mod at SW) who stepped in and removed both David (the junior mod) and my comments but welcomed me to post in another thread if needed to discuss it. I don't have too much problem with the "don't link to ML" rules, but when it's a question that needs an answer AND I don't link, and I do it under the rules, I don't think that they should complain. But that's all grey area. David's comments were just wrong and needed to be taken down, and Sean did that very quickly and handled it well.

Every mod has an off day, it happens. I think it got left on an even keel.

I'll be upset with you if ML turns into 10,000 of the same "what is best antivirus" posts. 😉

Hopefully we will just get smart people coming over. And lots of them.

@Nic could answer that one pretty swiftly!

Yeah, my actual vote is for Webroot.

We've been using it. Seems as good as anything else (we never had anything get through on other products, either) , and it so much smaller and easier to use.

The small footprint/fast scanning are my favorite parts.

            Yeah, it's awesome.

So easy to install, and get going, too.

Ever try to set up whatever the Symantec product is called? Better have a priest on call.

Yea,.. Even I have a off day... (remembers past issues).. But I rarely HAVE to exercise my MOD powers.

Misread that as a potential JS library.

PadreJS is totally a new thing now. Let's make it happen. Anyone have padre.io?

I think those two things are mutually exclusive 😉

Sadly this is very, very true.
