I switched to 1Password. They have a utility to import your LastPass info.
One problem: the Mac version gets more love/more updates/looks sleeker/works better vs the Windows version

What about the mobile version? I haven't been very impressed with the mobile version of LastPass at all, so wouldn't be hard to make a large improvement.

@travisdh1 FWIW, I been a long time user of Roboform, and I'm happy with their Windows and Android products (never tried their Mac version).

Honestly, I haven't given Roboform much of a chance at all. Had a bad experience with it WAY back when. You're not the first person I've seen recommend it recently, so it may just be time for me to give it another chance.

What don't you like about the mobile version? Other than I have to type my 800 character password every time I want to use it because I don't have a fingerprint reader on my phone (yes this would be the same problem if I had an Android phone with no finger print reader - JB), I haven't had any issues with the mobile version of LP.

I use KeePass. I keep the database in Dropbox and then keep the key on another system. The android version isn't too bad.

The search is worse than not having a search function. If I'm in my vault, I DON'T WANT TO SEARCH THE WEB. No end to the annoyance. Also, yes, the text I'm searching for in my vault is a part of a username/website it should find in the vault, but never does.

The key file is how he is able to open the KeePass database. You can set it so that you have to have a file to open the database as opposed to a password.

The iOS version is good. I don't know (nor have I checked) if they have an Android version.

If the file is only on some remote machine, how does that help you on your phone?

The Android version I have is Keepass2Android Offline. It seems to work just fine.

OK so you installed the 'file' into the android.

I just use a pass phrase on mine... I'm safe as long as I remember that password, ha ha.

Sorry I've been busy. I have Dropbox on my phone. So the database is updated every time I change something. I also have a key file in a different folder on my Android device, that's required to open the database. So both the correct passphrase and they key are required to open the database.

Another way to do 2FA then. Wonder if all of these can use Authenticator?

Sorry should have worded that better. I store it on another system other than Dropbox. That way if my Dropbox account is compromised they don't also have the key. I manually copy the key to the devices I use from the other system.

I suppose that's better, but it's not great two factor - you don't know if your device has been compromised and the file is out there.

I also use Keepass and have been for about 10 years. I store the keepass db in my dropbox folder and the keyfile on my devices and use a master password. On my phone, I mark the keepass db as a favorite or whatever dropbox calls it, and it automatically downloads the latest version when I make changes on one of my other devices.
