Server 2012 R2 comes with powershell v4, I thought?
You may need to add it under Server Manager?

Comes with PowerShell obviously but did a $PSversiontable.PSversion and get a major: 3 ... No place in SM that I found where you can add PS 4, just a feature where you can see PowerShell is checked (just says "Windows PowerShell").

Major oversight on my part. I overlooked the fact I downloaded the Windows6.1 (Win7) copy instead of Windows8 copy of the msu. Whoops.

Well that didn't fix the issue.

According to http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/21016.how-to-install-windows-powershell-4-0.aspx PowerShell 4 is the default for 2012 R2... You sure you running R2?

Ah, sorry. 2012.
Installed WMF 4.0... didn't fix the issue.
Installed the PowerShell 2.0 feature, didn't fix the issue.
Got prompted to install ADK for Windows 10 after installing PS 2.0 feature. Didn't fix the issue.
This shouldn't be this hard, it has to be something that I'm doing wrong.
...or does MDT 2013 Update 2 does not work with Server 2012 (only works with 2012 R2)?

Did you reboot post install?
