I am kind of in between sizes, thought that doesn't matter since every shoe is made differently it seems.
Very stressful for me.
This is my current work shoe:

New shoes for discus?

I just got some Merrells to wear to work. Basic semi-dress type shoes, black (obviously, brown shoes don't make it). The only thing is that they squeak a little, but I hope that goes away (only worn them twice so far). I highly recommend Merrells for both comfort and durability. Last pair went 6+ years and are still in ok shape (a little banged up, but still plenty of miles left), just not for the office.

Yep - the water closet is for stupid meaningless discussions..
I'm currently sitting here staring an update screen and can't do much else until it's done.. and I kinda need to be johnny on the spot with it.. so one screen that, and one screen ML.

I had a pair of Merrells that I LOVED. But they stopped making them in my size. Boooo.

I hate shopping.

Since I don't wear mens shoes can't help ya. But I know I love Keen's and Art loves the memory foam sketchers.

As far as casual type sneaks go, you can't beat New Balance if you have fat feet like mine.
-
I drooled over some Red Wing boots for ages recently but just couldn't justify the price, so end up getting a pair of Dr Martens and a couple of pairs of Clarks. I probably should have just gone for the one pair of Red Wings.
These are what I wanted:

I only wear boots or Chuck Taylors - never shoes.

I have a pair of their 990s. They were awesome until they got a little older and wet.
Apparently the glue smells when it gets wet. I Googled it, and boy did a lot of angry posts pop up!

So the boot thing is in now, eh?
-
I've been a fan of Nike's for ages. Especially the cheap ones you can find at walmart. It's not that I was looking for cheap shoes, I was just looking for something that was comfortable.
Sadly those died.. I'm wearing Champions CGs now - and they are wearing out... and considering I'm going to follow in a few of Scott's footsteps this summer walking around some parts of Europe.. I figure I need a new pair of shoes.. and time to break them in.
So should I go with a boot thing like Redwings or Dr Martins.. or stick with tennies?

Im a fan of ASICS

daily drivers.... I wear Champion tennis shoes to work and pretty much everywhere. I have dress shoes for the rare time I need them, so I am looking for a replacement for my daily driver.
They don't need to be tennis shoes to replace them.. it's not like I'm going out running in them... so a damn comfortable non making my feet hot pair of shoes would be fine too.

M DC Pure SE are super comfy and last a long time for me, but I know that style isn't everyone's cup of tea
