Solved Unable to move a VM form one server to another on Hyper-V Server 2012 R2
-
Scenario: Hyper-V Server 2012 R2 domain joined. Accessing from a domain joined Windows 8 machine. All normal actions I have done since March work fine. This is the first time I was trying to move a VM from one host to the other.
This is a basic Centos 7 VM used to relay from a local device that cannot authenticate to Office 365, nothing special. I could easily just recreate it but that is not the point of the exercise. I was attempting a non-DR failover/move.

Are both versions of Hyper-V the same? This looks like an error I was getting when trying to move from Hyper-V Server 2012 R2 to Hyper-V Server 2012.

You need to set up Constrained Delegation for the two Hyper-V hosts...
and
are my two go-to links for this.

Looping back, did this one get resolved?

Probably solved now, @dayfre pointed in the right direction I think.
Another typical failure when moving VMs can be mismatching "vSwitch" names, have seen that once.

Correct, it was constrained delegation.
