Notifications now hyper? Or just me
-
I've found the notifications to come is so fast as to be useless since day one, so not sure if that is new or different. Mine goes to 20+ instantly and I have no use for it.
-
ditto.. please go back to the old notifications.
-
ARGH this is horrible.
I use notifications currently and I now get so many it's driving me mad. 5 new ones in 2 minutes.
-
Really, I'm not having that issue.
-
Are you sure you don't have multiple browsers open to ML? That will produce multiple notifications.

Uncheck follow topics you reply to
-
Oh for the love of...another system wide default changed?
-
I don't know about systemwide... i set mine like this from the beginning and they haven't changed
-
This is odd. I don't have that issue.
-
I turned of email notices months ago.. they are back on today for some reason
-
@Breffni-Potter I replied to the same post and I didn't have an avalanche of notifications like this. It used to do, but now it's opposite. No settings have been changed by me.
-
I think it's this got reset. It used to be only if you got mentioned or upvoted you'd get a notification now if anyone replies it does.
-
Seem normal here.
-
My settings were not changed. all normal here. But at this point it is obvious that something was done to cause a change for some people.
-
The default was changed, that was mentioned in one of the threads. But not sure what made the settings change for some and not others.
-
Not having NobeBB installed anywhere yet to check myself, I wonder if the users affected never actually made any setting changes?
so their defaults were not actually specified and saved to their profile?
I specifically made changes multiple times over the last almost 2 years. so I know my preferences have been saved and I was not using defaults.
-
Same here, I always set it as I wanted, didn't use defaults. Maybe defaults were kept as "no specification" rather than as set so that when the defaults changed, those that didn't set them in any particular way got the new defaults. Only thing I could guess.
-
Good grief, found this thread thankfully.
-
Did I miss the update? Normal notifications over here... 2 different browsers today.
