I don't think that that is the issue.
The issue was who in their right mind is handing out limburger cheese first thing in the morning at SpiceWorld?! SERIOUSLY?!

I want to believe that someone was handing out cheese as a promotion for their new line of mice.
-
Who is able to make this into AJ's new avatar?
-
Someone remind me to do this tomorrow after I have had much needed sleep

It's an illustration from a famous children's story called "The Stinky Cheese Man".

Yeah, that smell started off as a little "can you smell that?" and, over a 36-hour period, became a slap in the face as you opened the door to the room. I'm kind of surprised we didn't get any calls from the front desk about housekeeping staff passing out, or at least refusing to clean the room. It was bad. Thanks be to @scottalanmiller for casually mentioning that @handsofqwerty asked him if he could leave his bag there (obviously a different bag...). That got me thinking; did @handsofqwerty ever come back for the bag he left in our room (I had put it in a small cupboard next to the fridge)? When I opened it to look and see if the bag was still there, I thought the smell seemed a little stronger than what was wafting about the room in general. The air was so saturated, I just couldn't tell. Danielle saw me lift the bag out and said "is that smell coming from his bag?". I held it out toward her and she started gagging. I guess that was confirmation, and then she pulled the block of limburger cheese from the mesh side-pocket. I tossed it out in the trash by the ice machine, down the hall, not knowing if there was a better place to put it. I'm sure whoever took care of that trash can, or anyone who went for ice, got a treat. By mid-day Friday, there were still significant traces of the odor in our room. Ugh.

Even if someone was crazy enough to be handing out blocks of limburger cheese... who in their right mind would accept it???
-
I felt bad, the guy brought these so far.
-
I felt pretty bad, too. Like, borderline nauseous.

Yeah I can confirm that it was still pretty bad when we visited the room late Friday night.

Me, but then I'd go buy some thick rye and strong onion and rock a sammich.

I would love to have been able to eat it. But there was literally no means of getting it home as we live in Texas and it is hot and we were not prepped for transporting cold foodstuffs.
-
Here it is...
-
The stuff of nightmares, right there...
-
@art_of_shred it tastes better than it smells, I promise.
edit: ok admittedly that's not saying much
