They've cried wolf a few too many times on this one.

I don't understand why there is such a "let's wait" approach for an IPv6 address. I just don't understand why a company should care, as DNS still functions the same.
Everything is on the "back-end" and their IT guy has to manage it. Or maybe, its the IT guy who simply doesn't understand this.

Expense is the big one I keep hearing. It will cost a significant amount of money to revamp our infrastructure to support IPv6, by "our infrastructure" I mean the ISPs infrastructure.

They're already spending a ton of money to continue to support IPv4 because of NAT, and the requirement of both types being able to talk to each other.

The cost analysis is probably saying that this process is still less expensive then going all in on IPv6.
