One Piece has an interesting tactic for dealing with pirating. They came out with so much content, no one wants to take up all of their HD space storing it

Excited for the Netflix premiere of the new MST3K episodes on April 14th!!! I'll be hosting a small gathering since it's on a Friday. And Patton Oswalt will be playing the "bad guy".
I love Patton Oswalt!!! He's a great comedian and actor.

I was making NO references to the past. Just a general ouch statement supporting 3 people.
Yeah, on one job making less than $20/hour. It's tough.

You are financially supporting friends? Ouch....
My girlfriend and another friend. I'm not who I was a year and a half ago. I have my own place, I take care of my shit, and that of people I care about, and I do what I have to so that things are done and covered. I also believe in paying it forward in honor of those who helped me out when I was in a bad situation.

....hungry but also broke... And hoping to buy a car this weekend..
How does that work? If you have money for a downpayment, I would choose food and delay car another half month or month.
Money for down payment will be coming out of taxes, and I'm the main breadwinner for a household of 3 right now. It's going to be tight for another few months. But we need a car. Desperately. So I'll live. Just eat when I get home.

RE: Headset Recommendations for softphone

@thanksajdotcom - Really just something that is comfortable and over the ear. Being able to walk away from my desk while on the phone would be nice as I am a pacer when I talk.
I assume that wireless models actually connect to the wifi network or are they all just Bluetooth with some kind of base station/usb module.
Also, I prefer over-the-ear, which is why I like the W730. If you see an M after it, all that means is that the specific model is Microsoft certified, but the ones without it work just as well. Also, Plantronics has some awesome software you can use to help manage it, that is very nice and powerful. It's free too. aka no extra licensing or fees to get it or use it

It depends on the model. The Savi series has a base that has USB to the PC, a connection for a deskphone, and bluetooth for a cellphone. However, the base to the headset is DECT, which gives you the range. That's why I'm such a big fan of them. They combine the best of everything into one unit. You have the range because of DECT, and you have compatibility because of the USB and bluetooth. And you manage it all from one headset.

Wegmans sells the mix for those! You just need shredded cheese and butter. And an egg. And having made them several times personally, WORTH IT!
I need Wegman's in my life apparently.
You don't even know
Let's put it this way. Alec Baldwin's mother lives probably half an hour from me. He has repeatedly asked her to move to Manhattan with him, and she won't leave Upstate NY BECAUSE OF WEGMANS!

RE: All-in-one printer: Suggestions please
@momurda said in All-in-one printer: Suggestions please:
@thanksajdotcom Yes one thing i will say is I dont use refurbs on big $20k copiers. Those are always under maintenance agreement so the toner comes with that. Only on the All in Ones or desktop printers.
I have never had a refurb cause problems other than not lasting as long or not being read(not a problem on Brother printers). the refurb'd high yield toners are 22.99 where i get them vs 87.99 OEM on amazon for one of my printers.Guessing either the TN650 or TN750? Also, yes, the cost savings can be substantial, but I personally would say if you have a good VAR that you can get good pricing through, it costs more, but I'd still stick with OEM. This might be something that we just have different approaches on, and that's fine. If you have a managed print contract, where they provide the toners, that's great, but I worked at a place that did that and the toners broke more machines than the money was saved. Granted, they were all little HP 1066 laser printers, so not exactly expensive to replace, but still, a headache. Also, if you don't have multiple toners on-hand, and one reman'ed doesn't work, you're SOL. I've seen that happen too.

I'm actually a phenomenal cook.
You ever notice that the good cooks aren't skinny?
Should we all text AJ now?
Hey, even @Huw3481 commented how I've lost weight. Grey, I know for a fact I'm 100 lbs lighter than the last time you saw me.
But yes, you're right. Don't trust a skinny chef. Thankfully, I'm only level 2 big guy, aka husky. -
RE: Headset Recommendations for softphone
What features are you looking for? Are you looking for something to leave attached to the computer? Are you looking for something that can work with multiple platforms, like bluetooth?
I am a diehard advocate of Plantronics products. As @Minion-Queen can confirm, Jabra has good prices, but they are basically Plantronics Lite in many ways, and without the durability of Plantronics.
If you want something quick and easy, @Danp had a great suggestion with the B235M, which is the Voyager Legend with their bluetooth adapter. The limit is range though, as it uses bluetooth, so your effective range is 20-30 feet, tops. Now, if you don't mind spending some extra money, look at the Savi 700 series. It can work with mobile, PC AND deskphone, all at once. It will detect what interface is receiving the call (although for PC it doesn't interface with Zoiper, just Lync/Skype and a couple of the other big softphones, like Cisco and Avaya), so you have to manually answer the call on the PC. However, the base is USB and bluetooth for maximum compatibility, and the headset uses DECT for a range of 3-400 ft. I once went out of my basement, up to the first floor, and out to the street, which meant it was transmitting through underground, and I still had signal 150ft from the base with clear quality.
The 700 series only varies by headset style. My personal favorite is the W730: https://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-Savi-Office-W730-Headset/dp/B005G50IA6
However, any of the 700 series works. For PC, you're either looking at a Savi or a bluetooth, which can be much more finicky, ESPECIALLY if you try to double it for use with your cell.

you can do it with bisquick too.
This is the actual, official Red Lobster mix though, with the seasoning packets, etc
I cheat with bisquick, but i suggest you learn to cook. http://altonbrown.com/southern-biscuits-recipe/
I'm actually a phenomenal cook. I started learning when I was 3. I like using biscuits to make garlic knots with mozzerella cheese. That shit is tasty.
