@bsouder If you want any help, I've used it for years. I have several routers running it. Main WAP in NY at home is running it. I don't have the equipment I need to setup the infrastructure I want here in TX but someday, but not someday soon sadly...

@Katie Those are worse...smaller the space, the worse it is. Make sure your dropclothes are ready. You'll probably want to do the baseboard as well or things won't match well. For that I believe you use semi but it might be high gloss. If the mirror comes off, take it off as cutting in around a mirror is a *****. Like I said, cigar roller (very cheap and VERY handy) for tight spots and just make sure you tape well. What is your ceiling like? Might not be a bad idea to redo that as well, as long as your doing it all anyways.

@bsouder Yup. They don't joke around. First prompt is to change your password. root/admin is default last I knew but they tell you to change it. How much have you played with dd-wrt before?

@Katie Primer can be used but it's up to you. Are you painting it yourself? Bathrooms are the biggest pain in the @$$ things to paint. If you don't have one, and you're doing this yourself, get a cigar roller for doing behind the toilet, etc. Makes it a LOT easier.

That's why people who work from home don't use the crockpot. I make crockpot dishes when I'm onsite at the client's. Otherwise it's just torture! It's not as horrible for me though because my lid has no vent hole and seals REALLY well. Still, not taking that chance.

Besides, what are you making? Crockpots are for pot roast and ribs, etc.

@steve dd-wrt is completely stable, free and, like I've said, gives you $300+ capabilities in a $30 router. People can complain about it if they want, and I have seen people say it has no place in the business realm, but I disagree. Enterprise, I agree. SMB, especially the S part, it's awesome!

@Dominica WHAT?! I love cleaning brushes! No lie. The smell of fresh paint and the smell of freshly cut wood. inhales I LOVE it. When you walk into a construction area and tell they're doing framing because you can smell the sawdust from 2x4s getting cut, that's better than any perfume/cologne to me.

@Hubtech Agreed. At the moment, EVERYTHING new shows up. That's going to get annoying QUICK!

Another thing that drives me nuts at the moment is when I go to unread and select one it takes me to the top of the thread instead of the new post. I have to scroll down each time to find it. I do, however, love the real-time updates and not having to refresh to see new notifications is awesome!

@Dominica As far as primer though, the paint will still give better coverage.

@Dominica That's true. Two is bare minimum. Three is really best. If you're doing a new house and just putting a base on, two is okay as most people will paint over that and most people are just putting the base on with eggshell. Oh, that's what I meant earlier btw. Semi-gloss for bathrooms. Eggshell for most of the house.

@bsouder No point buying the brand new stuff. Get a refurbed one off Newegg, etc. They are typically half or less the price and work just fine. Flash with DD-WRT. Done.

@scottalanmiller Is its purpose to simply develop new applications? Isn't that similar, in principle at least, to Sharepoint? Or is this much more stripped down than sharepoint? What is the exact purpose I'm just wondering? App dev?

What is the file size limit on videos and/or pictures that can be uploaded in a post? Total post limit? Individual file limit?

So we can embed videos and pictures in posts? Awesome!

1. We need a feature request group. This gives us a feel for what new users are looking for.
2. We need a "return to top" option at the bottom of the page or we need to freeze the header pane.
