He is already a minion i guess
bwahaha
Not if he's never seen the movie...
@IRJ Why not post both places? I hardly post over there anymore. I don't like the atmosphere. I like the openness of ML much better, but exposure is lower, that is true. Work on asking more questions to bring in more people!

There was a guy who posted here and SW that he had many connections all over the country for voice and data services.
I quick search here has turned up nothing, does anyone recall who that was?
I don't remember anything like that.
Just got to work 15 minutes ago. Just gonna chill for a few minutes and start at 8AM CST (15 minutes from now). I slept like **** last night due to a borderline migraine I finally nipped in the butt this morning. So now I'm at work, alert, but here quite early.
TGIF! I think I'm allowed to say that again...

So just getting conversations going - people kicking around ideas. That is what we need most.
Agreed.

or are too proud to ask
Or we research it and figure it out ourselves. Pride does come into play though.

Everyone on here is pretty technical so we like to answer questions more than ask them. Although I still do ask my share. There isn't any enough entry level people on here.
Exactly. We actually could use people who come, post a question, and disappear. We don't get enough foot traffic.
@scottalanmiller and I have discussed that exact question at great length, FYI.

In looking over most of the posts here, one of things I really miss here compared to SW are the technical questions. Frankly it's really the only reason that stuck around and met most of you.
What, if anything, is being done to get the ML name out there as a place people can come to post technical questions?
Or is that not really the point of this forum?
That is the ultimate goal of ML. However, we need the foot traffic but we're stuck in a Catch 22. SW gets traffic because it's had traffic. People find it because it's already big. We need more technical questions to bring in more questions due to higher Google results.
That being said, they give each tech freedom to play on their own virtual network on a VMware infrastructure to spin up anything from Server 2000 to Server 2012 to XP to Windows 8.1 to Linux. They let you build and play to gain experience with the products and the platforms. Pretty stinkin' cool I think.
Trying to make myself tired so I can sleep. First day at the new job tomorrow!
