Thanks for the one week notice, Microsoft.
That is really bad. I understand axing something, but giving less than 2 weeks notice is crazy
Ah....but as said in the article: Microsoft will keep existing sites alive for two years, and Office 365 customers “will have the option to subscribe to third-party solutions by using links from Office 365.”
If you compose an email in Outlook 2013 you can click on Options and change the Delivery Options to say Have replies sent to "insert email address" manually.
I would like to know how to change the default to something else. Is this possible?

This doesn't sound like a WordPress thing. This is just a template thing.
And most of your spacing issues would be related to the WP theme's CSS file. Use firebug for Firefox and you should be able to see the issues in your theme according to the php page that is being used by the theme.
ALWAYS use a Child Theme to make edits to ANY Theme you didn't create from scratch.

LOL...no, the customer seemed sketchy when he signed up for hosting services and then added that file to the server. So booting = cancelling his service.
@Bill-Kindle if only that were true!

@technobabble I had never heard of your hosted repair shop CRM before. An interesting product. Might be perfect for your business model. Very cool.
I started using that and WHMCS in October and haven't looked back. RepairShopr also has been updating their product almost monthly adding user requested features and they have fantastic tech support!
They would be a good company to have representation in a community like this.
Consider RepairShopr invited.
WordFence is great as mentioned earlier. I also like to use TAC (Theme Authenticity Checker) and Theme-Check. Simply, TAC looks for code that doesn't belong and T-C looks to see if theme is coded to the latest specs.
I also like to check the site with http://securi.net
The hardening info is good to follow. I don't have Administrator or admin as a user and all passwords are mixed upper & lower case, numbers and symbols.
I can't stress the need to update WP, the themes and plugins. If the plugin hasn't been updated in over a year, it might be time to find something new or fork the plugin with your code.
We use WordPress for all of our clients websites. We figured if it is good enough for the NY Times and the Huffington Post, it's good enough for our clients!
And maybe some day @Bill-Kindle will get his Enterprise! I remember from the early '80's hanging out in the school library reading books about what the space stations would look like in 2000. You know the ones, farm land and livestock and parks were part of the environment.
We used .us because both .com and .net weren't available and no one would confuse our business with that .com or .net domain name.

The best SEO comes from:
- Using open web standards correctly
- Having good quality, real content.
I would like to add:
better content.
FYI copying content from MS or other vendors does not make great content for your website. Using a CD of descriptions and images for all your items your are selling is not good content. Good content is "crafted", which is why creating good content is not an easy chore.
SEO is only one part of marketing. You should have some social marketing and e-newsletter type of marketing set up as well. If you don't have someone in house to work on marketing, you need to outsource. Do your homework, there is no magic here, just hard work that you have to pay someone to do.
Perhaps I misunderstood the OP, but have you seen this, http://www.bluestacks.com/? I have this running on my laptop.
@alexntg why wouldn't you just check the box that allows the user to see the desktop from login, like W7. I remove all tiles except the desktop and pin all daily task items to taskbar. This way clients feel like W7 with an odd shut down pattern.
Putting pieces that I have read together and have come up with this:
Mount vhd and mark partition active (which it currently is not active), clicking yes for the pop up "Ensure that the partition you are about to make active includes valid system files. Otherwise the disk will not start. do you want to continue. I presume this will not effect the running of my W8.1.1 system.
Unmount vhd and attempt to start in VirtualBox.
Does this sound plausible?

I tried bluestacks before. I had a lot of problems to get my apps running ... And it needs a M$ OS to run.
If I have more time, I will see if I can get this working on VMware Workstation first.
I think the main problem is that ESX does not fully support the needed virtual hardware, yet. VMware Workstation has a lot more virtual network adaptors ...
Yeah, the first versions were wonky, but after an upgrade it was cool. And yes it needs MS or Apple to run. Good luck!
Now available as a Beta, GFI Max integration with RepairShopr. I will be adding this shortly and will report back.
Thanks everyone...lucky for me, no Exchange on premise.
I stopped using favorites and started using Evernote web clipper.
