Wow, few days off from ML and the site is totally changed! 🙂 Looks good though! 🙂

Luckily all our servers are safe! 🙂 All patched!

Yeah. Major patch was installed. 🙂

Yeah, not to bad - I don't like the fact that it's all browser based. You download a client that's installed, then the browser session connects to that install to run the scan from your machine on your network. You have to put credentials into the software to get the scan to do anything worth while.

The first scan I ran came back empty because I didn't associate the credentials with any machines - wasn't obvious this needed to be done, still took me 5 mins to figure it out.

Ah, I was wondering how it did it without an install.

It's not a market that can handle hundreds of players. A handful are all that really make sense.

I've not used it but am very interested. Looks like a software defined storage platform.

Oracle makes Java. Many SMBs have Java.

True, although since it is free and just an underpinning that they tend to use and not actually think about, I think that they often miss that fact. Many use MySQL too, which is obviously Oracle. And more and more, for whatever reason, use ZFS.

OMG, I am doing some cleaning and I just stumbled on the original CD from "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Linux" which is the first copy of Linux that I ever used. It's the disc that contains the original copy of Caldera Linux from the mid to late 1990s that Andy West and I picked up at a Borders in Rochester, New York and was used to run our first server and client farm for MUD gaming!

      I need this!!

I'm pretty sure that you don't want this, lol.

LOL, I just need to get more comfortable with Linux. Learning more every day but just enough to be dangerous...

I like computer RPGs but they aren't the same. I like the role playing aspects and really getting into the character.
