@WrCombs I can't get rid of Netflix (don't have cable) but I probably will write them a sternly worded email. People are dumb enough already, no need for Netflix to help.
I don't have cable either! weird. lol ( not really)
Do you think that will actually work?
No, but it might make me feel better. I imagine I won't be the only one to tell Netflix that they need to stick to entertainment and cut back on the pseudo-science misinformation.

On a chat with Dell support, one of the new production boxes has an uncooperative iDRAC. Also listening to Monolord on my new giant headphones...

@scottalanmiller oh dear... but in all fairness, I've literally never used the word "jammies" to refer to PJ's or sleepwear of any kind.

RE: What are you listening to? What would you recommend?
Kyuss - Welcome to Sky Valley (1994)
Fucking heavy masterpiece from Josh Homme's band before Queens of the Stone Age.

Creating a Zip Folder for my ISO of Server 2019 to put onto a flash drive so I can Use it at my house after I install Fedora 31 and KVM to practice Windows AD for hands on practice.
apparently even after creating a zip file it's too large to transfer..
To transfer to where? You'll need Fat32 up to a 4 GB file, you'll need NTFS for anything larger as a single file.
according to my google search of NTFS: Windows OS's Come with that by default..
True, but modern versions of windows require fat32 to make a UEFI bootable USB stick. I usually use Rufus to make installer USBs, it will choose the correct settings based on the ISO file.

I put 7 down because 1) I was in front of my computer until 4:00 pm 2) i spent time taking care of my son as well which would equal 2 hours of the work day not worked.
- When did you start?
Started at 8:00
- Not relevant. They can't stop paying you when someone talks to you at the water cooler or you get distracted by work conversations. Those things happen at the office or at home, they are part of your work day. When in the office you get loads and loads of time that you can't answer the phone, get to emails, etc. It's just normal day.
That's fair.
So definitely an eight hour day. There has to be some kind of soft limit, like stepping away for half of the day and not being available is one thing, but being slightly unavailable for a short period of time is just normal work day stuff.
uh - what? He started at 8 AM, let's assume his stated lunch was from noon to 1 PM, and he closed the computer at 4 PM... that seems like 7 hours to me.
Am I missing something?
I think the issue is that he got docked an hour while working from home, but while in the office, he can dick around for that hour or more and still get paid for 8.

Is there an "investigative reporter" on one of the local news teams? They'd have a field day with this as well.

@scottalanmiller except that the "clean veganism" would weaken him to the point that a tiny bit of cocaine would kill him. So I support cocaine for vegans.

Today I learned not to cock up the DNS server during business hours, and also the importance of having a 2nd DC/DNS in the event of such cockery.
You get it un-cocked yet?
Oh yeah. The network adapter reset itself to DHCP, so I was able to finally track down its new IP and fix it. But it was kinda stressful for a bit.
"Reset it self..." I'm sensing a story here... or maybe an unplanned Windows update, lol.
The MS automated network fixy tool does more than I remember...
It fixy things that aren't needing fix'n.
It started ninj'in settings that didn't need ninj'in.

Whiskey and ginger ale is my go-to mixed drink. Most excellent. But always diet ginger ale to avoid the sugar hangover.
