I need some help on what to do with this situation. We have Avaya 9600 series phones and they support Client VPN and can tunnel back to our building so our remote workers can be part of the on prem SIP manager. The problem I am having is Cisco Meraki is saying they do not support Client VPN for SIP phones. Only Mobile devices and laptop/desktop. WTF!?!??! I am ignorant to all the ins and outs but this sounds like a bunch of BS. They are saying it has to be a Site to site vpn. Does Mangolassi world have any tips that are cost effective? At this point the only answer i know of is 12k in equipment and licensing..... It has always been a love hate relationship with Cisco with me. They can be sliced bread or a shit sandwich or both at the same time.

Zoom meeting access:
So has anyone successfully blocked access to Zoom meetings? The hits keep coming. I copied and sent out the article to our partners and got back a "Hey, we are using this" response....

RE: Microsoft Teams
Looks like for four US dollars a month you can have a Audio Conference account that will let you have up to 250 people call in on a conference number assigned to you. This may cover most of what you need.
There is more to it than that.

Need advice on Chrome books for home school.
With events unfolding, we do not live in a district that hands out laptops or chrome books to its students. I have never looked at them. If it were you, and you were buying for your children "two boys" what would you look at. Any advice would help, I know nothing about them, am reading up on them as we speak. Thanks MangoLasians.

RE: If there has been a breach.
@Dashrender That is what I was kind of thinking about. Something like a State Yubikey similar to the chips that are now on credit cards. At least make it harder for the thieves to profit.

RE: If there has been a breach.
@Dashrender truth. I was cleaning out the garage this weekend and found my University of North Texas student ID. Lookey there, my student number is my SS number.

If there has been a breach.
My line of thinking is that if your personal information ie. Social Security number Drivers License number have been scooped up in a security breach. That the information on these items is "forever" compromised. Am I correct?

This was definitely hacked. It may have been a coincidence that they went to Jamaica at the same time.
You'll want to revoke any login tokens and check for any forwarding rules, reset the password, and check for inbox rules. Pitch them MFA.
What he said. Been there done that several times. Even had someone reply to an email from the compromised account asking "Is this really you?"........ The response was of course "Yes it is me"........ Whoops there goes another account.

Pets 'go hungry' after smart feeder goes offline
/s Whatever happened to just leaving a 40lb bag of food open on the floor?
People who control all their IoT devices from their phones need someone to blame for their personal shortcomings. God forbid they take 20 seconds to manually feed their pets.
TRUTH.
