So I've worked a good amount with the virtual fax system on the older versions of Elastix, but I was wondering, is there a comparable module for FreePBX? And if so, what are the opinions on it? Looking to make the switch.

So many people overlook the older mid-range GPU's when it comes to games. "What's the newest card I can afford" often comes to mind, before considering the older solutions for graphically demanding software. EVGA has brought this card back to kind with a refresh of some older hardware, and an impressive one at that. As a two year old card, the GTX 660 doesn't get a lot said about it anymore. But EVGA decided they could squeeze more out of it. So they took their already Factory Overclocked card, and improved the VRM so they could push more power through it, tuned the cooling, and boosted the clock speed even more. So now here we have it, a card that can push 1080P gaming pretty admirably, at only $200. As I've had hands on with this card for a while now, and as I run 2 21" Monitors at a resolution of 1280 x 1024, this card is a beast. It runs just about anything on Ultra settings, with V-sync and even Moderate Tesselation at between 60-80 Frames Per Second. I've brought it to it's knees once with Unigine Heaven running on highest settings on both monitors, but even then it got a 27 FPS average, very respectable for a $200 card. In it's price bracket, there is a bit of a gap. It's competitors occupy the $100-$150 and $250-$300 price brackets, and it sits fairly lonely in the $200 niche. It has some extremely impressive overclocking abilities, pushing an unheard of 1400 MHz when overclocked to the extreme. As an EVGA card, it will overclock itself, and has no problem keeping itself cool. Even under high duress, this card has never risen above 70 Celsius, and the fan has never gone above 60%. Overall, extremely impressed with this card, would give it a 9/10 for the price. I plan on sticking with EVGA for the rest of my journey with PC's as much as possible. Thanks for reading my review!

Alright, plugins are just being a royal pain. Are we up for a vanilla server? I can throw one up with a new world in 5 minutes, just takes a while to input all the command arguments to get it to properly use more than 8GB of RAM and such.

So I'm working with an Elastix system for a client, who uses only Polycom phones, and I've run into an issue, where everything works perfectly, except that I cannot edit any of the configurable buttons, or get the phone's built-in VoiceMail button to actually function at all, nor have it integrate with the PBX's VoiceMail system, AKA, The MWI feature isn't working at all. I can't get into these phones from the backend as most of the guides I've found for this process call for, and I can't just edit it's config through SSH or anything similar.

Anyone run into this problem before, or have any advice for me? It's just a blinky light, but the client refuses to acknowledge that they can use the VoiceMail a separate way, and have it work just fine.

So, SteamOS, right? Was anyone else interested in SteamOS? Don't be. It isn't an OS at all.

It's a trimmed down version of Debian, with most of it's features removed, including the ability to install or mount Plug-ins, with an exact port of the Windows version of Steam Big Picture running on it as the home screen. Running on the same hardware, SteamOS caused SIGNIFICANTLY more strain on Big Picture mode than it did on Windows. Frame rates for the same games were around 8% lower.

Driver support is fairly spotty as well. Social media doesn't work, online videos don't work at higher than 480p, unless you use the built in Steam Browser (don't even try to use IceWeasel, it's sad), which displays at 1080p or higher just fine, but chugs along at less than 10 FPS, with a second or so of timing off between audio and video. Steam is a STEAMing pile of crap, avoid it. Hopefully in the future, they'll unlock the core OS more, so that your PC is actually somewhat usable. The only two nice things I have to say are the ease of use and boot speed were nice, but this OS fails in all other aspects.

In contrast, I'm operating on the Windows 10 Technical Preview at the moment for my Mini-ITX build, and after less than 10 minutes of setup, it's running almost exactly like it should. It automatically imported my OneDrive, Favorites in IE, and Google account over, as I used the same account from my main machine to log in. After 10 minutes, it's entirely usable (I'm posting from it). I guess I'll be doing a review on Windows 10, not SteamOS.

@scottalanmiller A PC can't read an ISO from a USB as a bootable file, you have to pull it apart into another format.

I did use paragraph breaks... I typed this all on mobile, perhaps that had something to do with it. I'll break it up in a few.
