    • Issue in Transferring NIS Database to Slave Servers

I have configured NIS in Servers.
There are about 2 Master Servers and 10 Slave Servers are there.
The servers are installed with Ubuntu Server 14.04 Server Edition.
All the Slave servers are controlled by the Master Server 2.
There is an issue in updating the NIS database in the Slave Server.

Since the password for the Master 1,2 is changed and the slave server password is not changed.
I have used the following command in Master Server 2:
      /usr/lib/yp/ypinit -m
The update is done properly in Master Servers.
The command used in the slave servers are
      /usr/lib/yp/ypinit -s hostname

      The error comes is

    • APIPA Issue

My user in the company is facing the APIPA issue that is the IP of the system is assigned to 169.x.x.x.
The system is Windows 7 64 Bit Enterprise Edition and the OS is update properly.
Whenever the user restarts the IP gets limited and then the system have APIPA IP.
      I have done
the command in the command prompt"netsh ip reset all".
After this also the same thing happens.
So then the Network access point service is also restarted in administrator mode.
After that also the system assigns the APIPA IP.
When the system is provided with static IP no issue.
When the system is in DHCP,the APIPA issue occurs for this user. Why this happens?
