    • Windows has blocked this software because it can't verify the publisher cab

      Hi Everyone,

      I am trying to access the bank of korea - http://keb.co.kr/
      But I keep getting error when installing the plugins. I'm using the IE 8
      It says" Windows has blocked this software because it can't verify the publisher cab"
      actual screenshot here:
      https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7txob8aH99iVGF5cmp4NW9wdWc/view?usp=sharing

      I tried to allow the active X plugins
      😱

      Tried also this :

      1. Open internet explorer, click Tools – Internet Options .
      2. Click the Security tab – Custom Level button.
        Under ActiveX ensure the following are set to enabled
        Run ActiveX and plug-ins – Enabled - my IE 8 seemed to say something on this one about Previously Unused? I hope that's the correct one. It was marked Disabled and I marked Enable
        Download Signed ActiveX Control – Enabled - this had been set on Prompt
        Script ActiveX controls marked as safe for scripting – Enabled - this was already Enabled
        Set the following to β€œPrompt ”
        Download unsigned ActiveX Control – Prompt - this was set to Disabled
        Initialize and script ActiveX controls not mark as safe – Prompt - this was set to Disabled

      Thanks πŸ˜‘

    • VPN multiple IP address

      Hello ML People,
      We are currently using Securepoint Open VPN and users are authenticated on freeradius installed on Linux Ubuntu 12.04, using 1 public IP address and its working fine. But we want to use two (2) public IP address or maybe multiple IP for future. We want to setup specific users to use specific Public IP address.
      Example:

      User1 will use internal IP address 10.8.0.x and public IP of 123.123.255.120
      User2 will use internal IP address 10.8.2.x and public IP of 123.123.255.121

      I tried to follow the this link but user2 cannot use 10.8.2.x and public IP of 123.123.255.121 instead user2 still using the IP address 10.8.0.x and public IP of 123.123.255.120

      https://forums.openvpn.net/topic8559.html

      Thanks in advance 😐

      Not secret. Have to be in Hawaii in March for a family event so already a long way via the flight path. Kids are begging for a holiday in China so we plan on doing that. The plan is to move to New Zealand directly from the holiday in China. From NZ we will be using a lot of our free time to visit Australia as this is the only time that we know that we will be living in that part of the world. So like late April of 2017 through the end of the year in that part of the world. If we really find that we like Australia we could conceivably spend a few months there while in the "area".

      Then you can visit PH too πŸ˜€

    • Facebook privacy hoaxes prey on your fears -- again

      Facebook is warning users not to fall for a recent resurgence in privacy hoxes.
      Facebook has always been ripe for privacy hoaxes, and it appears it's harvest time again on the social-networking giant.

      Users of the world's largest social network were inundated Monday with messages on their news feeds reposted by friends that warn if they don't act fast, Facebook will be allowed to infringe on their privacy.

      ]The hoaxes play on real concerns consumers have about how their personal information might be used by Internet giants such as Facebook, Google and Netflix, among others, who have in the past been accused of violating their users' privacy.

      One of the hoaxes, which resurfaces every couple of years, warns users to post what sounds like a legally binding statement to their feeds that prohibits Facebook from using their photos, content or personal information without users' permission.

      The now-familiar message begins like this:

      As of September 28th , 2015 at 10:50p.m. Eastern standard time, I do not give Facebook or any entities associated with Facebook permission to use my pictures, information, or posts, both past and future. By this statement, I give notice to Facebook it is strictly forbidden to disclose, copy, distribute, or take any other action against me based on this profile and/or its contents.
      The hoax promises to exempt those who repost the legal-sounding statement from Facebook's Data Use Policy, a document that governs how Facebook may use its members' data that they agree to when they sign up to use the service. However, of course, once approved, the contract cannot be altered by users.

    • How To Install Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana 4 on CentOS 7

      Hi ML People,
      I'm doing some Linux Project-Just for practice only.
      Now I'm following this guide
      https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-elasticsearch-logstash-and-kibana-4-on-centos-7
      However I this this part"
      sudo rpm --import http://packages.elasticsearch.org/GPG-KEY-elasticsearch

      **Create and edit a new yum repository file for Elasticsearch:
      **
      sudo vi /etc/yum.repos.d/elasticsearch.repo

      Add the following repository configuration:
      /etc/yum.repos.d/elasticsearch.repo

      [elasticsearch-1.4]
      name=Elasticsearch repository for 1.4.x packages
      baseurl=http://packages.elasticsearch.org/elasticsearch/1.4/centos
      gpgcheck=1
      gpgkey=http://packages.elasticsearch.org/GPG-KEY-elasticsearch
      enabled=1

      I can't move due to error "Repository 'elasticsearch-1.4': Error parsing config: Error parsing "gpgcheck = '1\ng'": invalid boolean value
      "

      Looks like you have a \ng in your text file. Open up the file in question, look for the like that should end in =1 but actually ends in =1\ng and remove the \ng.

      I loved the night shift back when I did it. Your whole day is your own. The second shift that she is doing now is the one that I hate the most.

      I agree about that. I worked 2-11 for a while and that's terrible.

      I know the feeling! I can say that I started to love being on night shift.
