I've been running with Toshiba for the last 12 years. I usually get a good 4-5 years out of them. For what it sounds like they want these should be plenty of computer.

Data Center Best Practices
What "Data Center Best Practices" would you be most interested in learning from a BICSI Certified Data Center Design Consultant? So many different topics - Airflow, power, blanking panels, cooling, cable management, mounting equipment, safety, monitoring, security? What sticks out as the key points for you guys?

RE: Amazon Fire TV Day One Review
Love the FireStick. I bought first day it came out too. Really no complaints on my end although I've never tried Roku and ChromeCast is in a bit different category to me.
I have the FireStick in the master and then just play everything else off the PS4 in the living room (although it died last week so now I'm working on sending in under warranty - Pretty devastating for a long weekend where I had nothing but PS4 plans and football.)

RE: Holloween Craziness Thread
Going as a lumberjack this year, which used to be obvious but now if I wear my glasses and don't carry an ax then I'm apparently going as an Austin, TX hipster.

RE: Happy National Chocolate Day!!
Super Dark if I want straight chocolate, but hard to go against anything with chocolate and PB.

RE: Cheapest 24U Server rack/cabient
That Norco might work, but looking at it, I'm curious what the usable dimensions are inside. The exterior depth shows 31.5" and the Dell Standard depth is 28 7/8. That's cutting it pretty
close. I haven't found a spec sheet or anyone talking about the interior dims yet. This is a little damaged apparently, but might be the right idea.

RE: Happy Birthday NES
The beginning of a long spiral into gaming... I still have a SNES setup in our guest room. The wife likes to destroy me in Mario Kart.

Yes we can do will call. What kind of rack are you looking at? If you're located in the area we have a lot of racks on our showroom floor too.

Happy Birthday NES
Well 30 years ago today the NES arrived in America... Hard to imagine life without Metal Gear, Techmo Bowl, Super Mario Bros, Tetris, Final Fantasy, Punch Out, Mega Man, and of course Link to the Past, and so many more...

RE: Dream Office Setup:
A really complicated combination of Jack Donaghy's office, a basketball court and Starks lab... basically whiskey & city skyline view, bball, and epic tech... that'll do nicely.

RE: Star Wars: The Force Awakens
I think I read an article with the top potential series including Han origin, Wedge, Imperial Academy, etc.
Yes I would absolutely be on board for 12 part netflix series. Curious how long it would take for me to feel over saturated... I think Marvel is almost to that point with so much going on, but I anticipate Civil War will change that.

RE: Star Wars: The Force Awakens
I think I might be more excited about Rogue One because in my head I think it's a bit easier not to screw up.

RE: Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Netflix is anticipated to get the streaming rights for the first 6 movies here in the next month. I've already been getting the wife mentally prepared. I've started buying her SW shirts and slipping Han quotes into normal conversation.

RE: Cheapest 24U Server rack/cabient
My initial thought is this Open 4-Post. It's adjustable so you can fit to any depth you need, extremely strong (3000 lb load) although that's probably overkill for you. Ships unassembled which considering dim weights are a monster, that saves you quite a bit on shipping if you don't mind assembly, otherwise we can assemble for a charge and ship at that dim weight. The image is the 42u, but on the page you have a 24u for $389.

RE: Cheapest 24U Server rack/cabient
What's the max depth you need? I can definitely find you a couple options under $700. Sound like you don't need an enclosure, but just a 4 post option at 24u? Is that accurate or do you have any other specifics?

Star Wars: The Force Awakens
So I am officially geeking out after last night's full trailer. I actually preferred the first one better, but crossing fingers this lives up to the ridiculous bar of expectations that I have set for it.
