    • Virtualize W2003 R2 licensing problem.

      Hi.

I've an old server with W2003 R2 installed, in this server we have and old ERP, Navision Attain 3.0, it's still in use for his historic data.

I want to virtualize this machine because have same hardware problems.

The problem are the licences for Windoes 2003 for the virtual machine.

How can I get a W2003 Retail Licence now?

      Is there any alternative?

I keep my KeepassX database in DropBox, but my actual key file is not there.

I've not used a Keyfile,.. only a 'decently long complex' password.

      Me too, a strong password.

I use Password Safe with Dropbox, in Dropbox I've double authentication activated.

    • Windows Server 2016 Licences for cluster

      Hi.

I am not clear what licenses I need from Windows 2016 to mount a Cluster with 3 Vm on 2 Dell servers.

It would be enough with 3 volume licenses of W2016 or I need to buy Software Assurance (SA) licenses?

I asked last week to Microsoft and I'm still waiting for the answer.

      Thanks.

This was one of the reasons we leave sonicwall in the company, apart of the support cost.

Now with Pfsense using VpnSite all problems disappears.

This is the only reason why I would use Fc.

Then you look at places like Nazi Germany and North Korea were the people were unarmed by the government while things were good. It wasn't until after they were disarmed that things got bad.

Nazi Germany did not disarm the people. The Nazis reversed the gun restrictions that had been there. This is often misquoted to make it seem like Hitler was anti-gun to gain control of the people. Quite the opposite.

Germany had strict gun control and removed it under the Nazis. Today Germany is among the safest places on earth and also has nearly the strictest gun control. Germany is possibly the best example in modern history of gun control directly being tied to good things and loosening it to bad ones.

In 2011 all Germany policemen shot 85 bullets

I don't know the data of Spain or rest of EU but maybe quite similar.

Die Hard has always been a Christmas movie to me.

      Me too.

A curiosity,in Spain Die Hard title was traslate to "Crystal Jungle" "La jungla de Cristal".
      Fortunately Yippie-Kai-Yay .... was correctly traslate. 😃
