This happened again today. Except it was my primary monitor. Once again a reboot fixed this.
Is this happening to anyone else?

RE: Small Business Server 2003 to 2012 R2 Migration and Virtualized Domain Controller Questions
@garak0410 said:
Well, I am in a position where I do need the CNAME of the old server in place so we can fix an in house software quirk.
Going back to my check list, this appears to be the next step:
ยง Transfer FSMO Roles to new Server 2012 R2 Domain Controller โก Transfer all 5 or one at a time and start demoting your old Server 2003 DC's in the next step. But the key to remember is to NOT demote any of the current domain controllers that have any of your FSMO roles on them. Be sure to transfer them off first before proceeding to DC demotion. โก http://blogs.technet.com/b/canitpro/archive/2013/05/27/step-by-step-active-directory-migration-from-windows-server-2003-to-windows-server-2012.aspx
And all of the suggestions lead to that I can do this during business hours....so, taking this step by step. OK to proceed as according to the link above?
You can do it during business hours, but I wouldn't.

Someday, maybe he will find this thread.
I doubt he would admit that he was the candidate, but you never know

I have a small business I just transitioned to Office 365 (thanks NTG).
This interests me... You seemed like you were against Office 365 in the other thread. What changed your mind?

RE: What do you use for offsite locations and VPN use?
Here is a good review on the Power Cover. I found another really good one, but I cant find it now

RE: What do you use for offsite locations and VPN use?
I bought a Surface Pro 256GB bundle and Power cover Keyboard which totaled out to be $950 or so.
The main complaint about the original Surface Pro is battery life. The processor in the SP2 increased battery life by quite a bit. The other differences are minor for me. SP2 has improved graphics for photoshop, games, and other editing programs
Microsoft claims that the Battery cover gives the Orginal SP about a 60-70% battery boost. Many reviewers claim this to be dead on. The SP2 recieves a 33% boost with the Battery cover.

RE: The Interview No-Show?
It sounds like he was good qualified candidate so its likely he got a better offer somewhere else.

Sorry guys, I wasnt very clear with my question.
I am looking for a mobile device not a means of VPN connection. I think I finally settled on a Surface Pro 2. Does anyone own one?
P.S. Pertino is awesome
Hmm, I misread that post! Though I am interested in your thoughts on the Pro 2 once you buy it. @Minion-Queen recently purchased one I believe. I am in the market for a new device for my wife. Still debating a Pro2 or iPad Air.
The reviews I have been reading have all been good. I will let you know because I will probably pull the trigger early this week.
An iPad wont work for me. I want to have a full laptop replacement
I use a virtual desktop for my primary workstation. I can access it from nearly any device. In a sense, it gives me Windows on my iPad. With application compatibility problems out the window, it comes down to non-work functions, form factor, and weight.
I could use VNC on my android tablet and essentially do everything I need to do except its not really comfortable for doing any extensive work.

4GB and I can't imagine needing 8GB on a tablet.
This tablet has enough power under the hood to be a laptop replacement. Many reviewers used it for Photoshop or casual PC gaming on a daily basis.

RE: Is the CDW 3 year total warranty worth the money?
@Huw3481 said:
Warranties in the UK are entertaining. Regardless of what the manufacturer says, all electronic equipment has a 2 year warranty.
Then we have the Sale of Goods Act. So that's 6 years or so
Does that affect the price of electronics over there?
