If you are looking to do it yourself, I would contact Crutchfield Pro Advisor. A free service that will spec out the equipment for you. I have used them a handful of times in the past and the system they designed is still in use and works flawlessly. All we had to do was run the wires and mount the speakers. We have these systems in car dealerships and manufacturing plants. They recommended a 70V system using Atlas Sound speakers and Atlas Sound amp with a Sonos device as the audio source. We also had the volume control for each room. Our advisor was Tony.

@dashrender Yes, it is listed in Office 365 as I had to verify the domain.

Office 365 DNS query failed - delayed messages
I am sending from an Office 365 account to a hosted exchange recipient. The recipient is receiving the messages 8 hours delayed. When I look at a trace on my O365 admin account there is a delay on MS server before the mail server of the recipient. The error is DNS query failed, shows the correct domain name of the recipient but the IP address displayed in the error next to the recipient domain name is wrong. I attempted to lookup the IP but cant find any reverse a records published or any info on the web about the ip.
I opened a case with MS a week ago and they keep dragging their feet.I am in the process of migrating the recipient domain to Office365. I have added and verified the domain name in the O365 tenant, but have not updated any DNS records yet other than the one txt record to prove I have access to the domain. Could this be causing the delay?

RE: Dell Perc H710 predicted failure
Update: I had to clear the foreign config on the new drives, however, Open Manage would not display the "are you sure you want to clear the foreign config" message. It just went to a blank page. I had to uninstall OM and upgrade to the current version, then I was prompted about firmware and driver versions. To be safe I upgraded those as well, with reboots in between, took another system image failed the "bad drive" popped in a new one and the rebuild began. Completed in about 5 hours. All is working well.
Thank again all.

RE: Will I lose Connection if I ...
Depends on the type of VPN and if you are tunneling all traffic or not. Do you have more info?

RE: Dell Perc H710 predicted failure
Thank you for the replies. I do have a backup and I plan on replacing it ASAP. My question is best way to replace it.
Fail the drive and let it rebuild or put new drive in allow it to be assigned as hot spare then fail bad drive immediately.
My understanding is the first option would involve the array to be degraded and rebuilt taking significantly longer to rebuild and being vulnerable while rebuilding.
Wouldn’t the second option copy the data off just the drive in question then take the bad drive offline?
Currently the virtual disk is still healthy and the predicted failure disk is still working. Option two seems like less risk and a quicker repair.

Dell Perc H710 predicted failure
I have a Dell server with a Perc H710 drive. Has three virtual disks. Raid 1 os, single disk temp drive, and 3 disk Raid5 (I know, bad, but I didn't set it up) The Raid 5 has a disk marked with predicted failure. I have two new replacement drives and wanted to run my process by an extra pair of eyes.
I have read to fail the bad drive using open manage then pull and insert new drive and allow a rebuild, however, is that the best route? Couldn't I put in a new drive, mark it as a hot spare, wait for that process to complete, then pull the bad drive? Wouldn't that be a faster more reliable way?
Thanks!

RE: Printer Issue
I had a similar issue with a Cannon before. Check these two things.
- Make sure the printer doesn't require the UFR II driver rather than the PCL or PS.
- Also, I know it sounds dumb but verify the ip settings. I had an issue where the IP was getting dhcp but the default gateway was static and set to itself.
You could also try installing it on your pc (bypassing the printer server) as a test and see if you can get it to print successfully.
Hope that helps.

RE: CloudFlare Launches Privacy First DNS Service
Anyone using AT&T having issues using 1.1.1.1? It resolves to CloudFlare, however, ping latency is 1ms and a tracert only has one hop which is the 1.1.1.1. Seems like that IP is assigned to the onsite AT&T modem. Is it even worth trying to explain to an AT&T support rep? Seems like it may be a long phone call with no resolution.

AT&T Business Fiber install concerns
I have a strange situation with a client. They recently contacted me regarding an issue they are having with AT&T fiber install. They were on a old bonded T1 for voice and internet. AT&T contacted them stating they were discontinuing the service and they would need to upgrade to new fiber they would install all while saving a bit of money. The client agreed. It took them over a year to finally install the fiber in this client's suite. The box where the fiber terminates, a fiber to Ethernet media converter, and a AT&T provided router are all mounted in the suite on a wall. According to the client they never asked where it should go or for a dmarc location.
Client's lease is soon up and they are moving to the suite next door which is a different physical address with no access to previous suite. The client contacted AT&T to request a move of the circuit, however the sales rep stated there was no such thing as a move and that they would have to sign a new contract and at that point they would be able to cancel the previous without any term fees. Sales rep was pushy to get the contracted signed stating that if they wanted to meet the end of the month move deadline it needed to be submitted asap. Client agreed and signed. AT&T then came out and installed a second router off of the original media converter in the old suite and said, when you move simply take it with you. That is when the client involved us since it was not making sense to them.
I reached out to AT&T rep to discuss, he stated that he checked with the engineering department and they told him that the fiber termination box and media convert installed at the old physical address will service the next building as well and that a new one could not be installed at the new address.
I have heard of this in multi-tenant buildings where the drops are terminated in a demarc like a electrical room or maintenance room but never in an actual suite. I have a sneaking suspicion that this AT&T rep is either not being truthful or just bad at his job. I have a call scheduled with him later today to get more clarification. Unfortunately I am being brought into this situation mostly after the fact so all I have to go by is what the client is telling me.
Anyone have any experience with similar situations?

RE: Install BookStack on Fedora 27
Got it. I misunderstood and simply removed the two //
I understand now.
Again, thank you for the great write up and responses!

RE: Install BookStack on Fedora 27
When I did that it showed app_url=http:\wiki.example.com
I edited it to show http:// and it is now working- thank you very much for the quick response!I went back to my original file of what I entered in the app_url and I entered 'http:\wiki.example.com'
Did I do something wrong?

RE: Install BookStack on Fedora 27
Thank you @JaredBusch for the excellent write up. I followed your instructions (copy and paste after editing the first section only) and did not receive any errors, however when I navigate to fqdn, it directs me to a page cannot be found page. Looking at the url it looks like is is appending the url twice.
For example:
I enter wiki.example.com
and it navigates me to wiki.example.com/http:/wiki.example.com/loginIf I manually go to wiki.example.com/login I get a login page that is missing images.
Any thoughts?

RE: MS Server 2012 R2 BMR backup failed to complete
Thank you to everyone who replied. So the issue was that the partition exceeded the disk layout. I ended up adding a 2TB blank disk to the system and booted into Acronis TrueImage 2014. It discovered both the RAID and the newly added disk. I performed a clone and choose the proportional option which allowed Acronis to change the partition layout on the new disk. This completed successfully. I then took out the original two WD Red drives and set them aside as an "undo" plan. I was then able to boot from the newly cloned disk and used Veeam to successfully take an image. I then inserted the 4 new disks, created the new Raid 10 virtual disk and restored the Veeam image to the Raid 10 without issue.
I realize that @Dashrender suggestion of installing the Hypervisor on the new drives would have been a better route to go, however, I am still having issues reliably managing Hyper-V Server installations in a non-domain environment. It seems like I can get it working initially, but then when I want to connect to it again from the same machine, some other part fails to connect. I feel until I can get whatever issue I am having resolved, I don't feel comfortable moving to that scenario.

RE: MS Server 2012 R2 BMR backup failed to complete
@tim_g Unable to read a sector on the OS. I tried writing to multiple usb disks and they both have the same warning. I may have discovered more info, I loaded a gparted Live CD to take a look at the partition layout of the server and received a message:
“Can’t have a partition outside the disk!”Failed to read last sector (1952800766): Invalid argument HINTS: Either the volume is a RAID/LDMbut it wasn’t’…… Unable to read the contents of the filesystem.
When I run fdisk –l I get
/dev/sdb
/dev/sda
/dev/md126
/dev/loop0Fdisk lists the Last sector of all three devices being smaller than the End Sector.
This is a SuperMicro server using Intel RAID. Two 1tb disks in a RAID 1.
I was hoping to use NTFSfix in Ubuntu to repair the NTFS partition but do not know which device I should run the command on.Should I issue the NTFSfix on the /dev/md126 device? Is that the RAID volume? Or should I perform the command on each of the /dev/sdb and /dev/sda devices?

@syko24 It is a SuperMicro server with Intel Raid.

RE: MS Server 2012 R2 BMR backup failed to complete
It's not a seconds server. I plan on using the same hardware but 4 completely new drives.
