Up and Over/Down and Under/Straight throughposted in IT Discussion
Quick question to those that have nice clean racks and cable runs (we do not at the moment it's a rats nest)
We have 3 racks side by side.
If your connecting a Switch that's located in Rack 1, and need to connect it to a switch in rack 3, would you run the cable
up and over the top of the racks?
down and under the racks?
or go straight through them all?One of my projects this year is to start sorting cables and racks out. But i need to connect these two switches now

RE: How do I get the free VMWare license now?posted in IT Discussion
I've been finding this a lot with a few different websites.
Microsoft is another good one for changing things. Was looking for Hyper-V Server 2012 and all i kept getting was Server 2012 trial. found it in the end, saved the ISO on a USB to keep forever lol.

RE: Installing ScreenConnect on CentOS 7posted in IT Discussion
I love screenconnect, used it for 3-4 years for simple remote support at my last company that offered "remote support" to the public.
Have now implemented it here now instead of Teamviewer.

Welcome! I've never been to Wales but have always wanted to visit. We keep threatening to visit but haven't made it yet. Will be in Dublin next week and London in May, but nothing in Wales planned yet. Seems like a beautiful region, though!! And the Dr. Who Experience is in Wales now, so gotta go there!!
Never been to the Dr who experience but heard good thongs about it. Yeah Wales is a lovely place to visit and live, hence the reason I'm happy being underpaid as long as I get to stay here lol
