There really need to be a setting for this in the Workstation GUI.

Wondering if it's just a virt-manager issue since they are deprecating it.
Since when?

RE: EdgeRouter 4: IPSec, S2S vpn
The problem is this:
On the Meraki side, let's say you have 5 (this can be any number greater than 1) firewalls.
In Meraki speak, if all 5 are in the same "organization", S2S is a few clicks & AutoVPN takes over. No pre-shared secret, no keys.
You turn on VPN, say yes to whatever subnets you want in the vpn & save.On the ER side, I have to create 5 peers to connect to the Meraki side.
Meraki will only expose one connection for a 3rd party S2S & therein lies the problem.
Not all the tunnels connect & there's no good way to fix it. -
RE: EdgeRouter 4: IPSec, S2S vpn
update:
ER4 <--> S2S <--> Meraki MX is/was an absolute disaster.
No workie!!!
For now, have to scrap the idea, it just doesn't work  :face_with_open_mouth_cold_sweat: -
RE: Discussing with management switching to VOIP ...
Honestly, this is just one of things (to steal a Nike phrase) "Just Do It".
The SIP vs PRI (insert your fav term) debate, that ship sailed a long time ago... -

No. Why would you want that anyway? You have the terminal already. If you really need the GUI, drop a quick allow in the firewall rules for your current public IP.
I like to have access to the GUI, I thought there was some "backdoor" way through UNMS.
The firewall rule is good enough, thanks. -
Edgerouter experts: UNMS to gui
All you ER experts...
Is there no way to access the gui via UNMS?

@JaredBusch You plan on testing multi-tenancy?
No. Asterisk is not designed for it.
I would never seriously do multi-tenancy on an asterisk system.
From the way this product reads, they get around things by using a prefix that is “hidden” from normal view.
But if the underlying o/s is not designed for such how "would" they make it work?
Educate me please, why is Asterisk not designed for multi-tenancy? -

How do you think they (Vital) are pulling it off?
Hah, you replied while I was editing.

Are you referring to it's previous life as Ombutel or FreePBX?

@JaredBusch I did read it, I just don't understand it.
It is very simple. You said "easy way"... Well that is not the promoted "normal" way to install VitalPBX per their website. The only thing they promote is to download the ISO.
Clicking Downloads on the VitalPBX site takes you here:
Not sure how one method is promoted over the other.
The VPS is the easier (for me) method.

If it isn't open source, why is it free?
The vast majority of free things in the world aren't open source. Most don't even have source. SW was free but closed as well.
Right. How is this able to be free? Do they have paid tiers?
Yes there are paid tiers & paid add-ons

Just spoke (by phone) to Jose Montes at VitalPBX.
I pointed him to this thread, he'll come on later to chime in & hopefully (wrong sp: hoefully) answer a few questions.I spoke to him today as well!
Yeah, he mentioned that. at first he thought I was you!!
