Depends how you're getting to NC. If you go down 79 in PA then you will be going past me.
What part of 79? Transplanted Yinzer, here.

@coliver I fully stand by the claim that the breakfast biscuit with double meat and double cheese will cure literally any hangover. I've done EXTENSIVE field research.

A couple notes for road tripping from a former truck driver. Pilot stations have the best bathrooms (actual walls between stalls), and Petro stations are generally the largest, nicest, everything in one stop places. Also, Petro2 sucks.
And Sheetz has the best food. And Buck-ees is the most... um, ridiculous. But has great bathrooms.
I lived exclusively off Sheetz the summer of 08.

- What Tier level is ColocationAmerica datacenters?
- Can you talk about pricing for 1/2 rack & a full rack?

So the question remains.... for a regular, small-time, nondescript, everyday customer, why should one consider Colo America vs. the competition?
^^ The question remains unanswered
Our standard, base-level 1U server comes with 2 Amp 120 V power, 5TB of bandwidth and starts at $75. Quadranet's is 1 Amp 120V, and 300GB of bandwidth and starts at $79. Their single servers don't even go to 5TB bandwidth (+$10 to get an additional 500GB, 800GB total), and to add the extra 1 Amp, it's +$35.
That's why, the regular, small-time, nondescript, everyday customer with a small-business budget should come to Colocation America--value for your dollar.
Plus, we have a cool mascot.
@FATeknollogee Great question! This is going to sound cheesy, but our tagline is "It's All About Connections...", but that doesn't just cover technical "connections"; we want to develop relationships with our clients, something that we feel a lot of the "other guys" don't do. We specialize in IT solutions for small-to-medium sized businesses. We do have enterprise-level clients, but our bread-and-butter is in helping our clients grow and grow with them. You grow, we grow, and the better we can help our clients.
We also want to connect with the communities of the businesses that we serve. In our home base in LA, we sponsor numerous STEM-education related programs, including our own STEM Grant that we awarded to various student and youth programs in the Los Angeles area.
We pride ourselves on developing those personal relationships and providing IT solutions to our clients by offering top-notch services at an affordable price.
Tl;dr: We're dope and want to help your business to dope stuff too
@Minion-Queen On the road again! Just can't wait to get on the road again!
Are you and @art_of_shred going the southern route? There's an amazing BBQ place in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE in TexArkana that has the best fried green tomatoes I've ever had in my life.
@FATeknollogee We're super excited to be partnering with NTG for this Lab! We're providing some top notch data center space in our Quinby Building facility--a full-rack (42u) high density cabinet (10KVA), an IP range, and a 100 MB/s Dedicated GigE port, with 30TB bandwidth.
And, @Minion-Queen and @art_of_shred will be joined by our mascot Coly for their road trip, so they won't be totally alone.
It says I have 19 unread notifications, but when I click on it, it says "No New Notifications". Weird.
Just saw this pop-up:

Good on cPanel for addressing it and going that extra mile to encrypt and salt their databases with sensitive info.

@JaredBusch yeah but we all side-load apps, right?
Nope. There's no app I need that would ever need to be side-loaded. I don't trust that stuff one bit.
@Dashrender Hey Dash--our typical 1U in our top LA facility starts at $75 with all bells and whistles and goes up from there. Send me a message and maybe I can point you in the right direction.

More than enough time to come up with a new password... like ':PR!n<3$$'

It's OKAY change "princess" to "Pr1^c3S$" and you'll be good for another 30 minutes.
Not enough dollar signs.
