@Brains That's for the incoming and outgoing faxes.
I check for the email address mentioned in the original post and i haven't received anything from those domains.
AHHHH ok sorry i misunderstood. Thanks for checking.

Report showed over 50 emails, all coming from a @ringcentral.com address.
an actual @ringcentral.com email address?
NOTE: Their is a checkbox under each user account that says "notify me for additional offers..." You may want to check on that one. I can give pictures if you cant find it, but just login as admin on their website and select an extension. Then go to "User Info" or Extension info, something like that

Yeah, a reseller vendor would be a real possibility. RC needs to watch out for that. Could be someone trying to discredit them, or someone without a concern about them being discredited.
lol. Considering their Support quality and propensity to just stop responding to support tickets, I dont think RingCentral is worried about being discredited.

Hey Billy -
This is a vendor. Is it coming to users at @<censored>.com?
If so, I'll block the domain. If it's another domain, let me know so I can take that one off, too.
Would love the results of your poll.

Are you sure that all links in the email go to ringcentral.com?
other than the unsubscribe and email link
It could be nothing more than a trigger to get you to respond and verify the email address.
thats what im leaning towards, but RingCentral tends to follow really horrible practices, so I really am not sure

Is info-ring.com actually RingCentral's email domain? Seems unlikely.
probably not, but they could be using a 3rd party message delivery. I really dont put anything past this company
Also:
99.999% uptime (best in industry) with minimal IT administration
LAFF. Minimal IT administration because they make it difficult for IT to administer their software/service
Not sure if this is actually RingCentral or not, but I dont see any fake links. Some of our users do use RingCentral, but this user is not one of them.
Has anyone else received these in the last month or two? No response from this "Scott" when I emailed him, but he seems to have stopped spamming once I told him to "cut it out"

Subject: connecting
Hi <My User> ,
I wanted to make sure you saw my earlier message. I'd like to connect to discuss the amount of time your employees spend toggling between phone, mobile and work apps.
RingCentral, a Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader for Unified Communications as a Service, can transform the way Functional Restoration Associates, Pa does business.
If you're the right person to speak with, what does your calendar look like early next week? If not, who do you recommend I talk to?
Thanks,
Scott

Subject: Request for referral to IT Executive handling communications at Functional Restoration Associates, Pa
Hi <My User> ,
I'm writing to request a referral to the IT executive who manages telecommunications at Functional Restoration Associates, Pa, typically the CTO or VP/Director of IT Operations, to talk about the solution outlined below.
Digital is the new normal for today's workers. They're collaborating 24/7 across multiple locations and rocking the latest mobile devices and apps like Google for Work, Salesforce and Office 365.
These new apps deliver huge productivity gains, but there's a catch:
a) Is your phone system difficult to expand to multiple locations?
b) Are you chained to multiple vendors or aging PBXs?
c) Is it incapable of integrating with popular business apps?
RingCentral Office? empowers your business with feature-packed, scalable Unified Communications tools for a superior "in-office experience" anywhere, on any device. You get crystal clear voice, SMS, Voicemail-to-Email, HD Video Conferencing - and seamless integration with Google Apps for Work, Office 365, Salesforce, Zoho and Zendesk.
For one low monthly fee you also get:
That's why more than 300,000 companies including Allstate, Box, Del Monte, Liberty Mutual, Intuit and H&R Block rely on RingCentral, and are seeing a 182% ROI over 3 years vs. PBX (Forrester Total Economic Impact Study).
I'd like to arrange a brief call, and thank you in advance for getting me to the right executive. A reply and cc: with their names would be terrific.
Kind regards,
Scott

I'm no help to your discussion, but we're going to be doing something similar soon with iPads.
ewww good luck. We have a handful of iPads here for individualized testing and it is no fun to try to secure them when it is such a small deployment

Sure thing - here's some on performance:
http://www.passmark.com/benchmark-reports/index.htmand on efficacy:
https://www.mrg-effitas.com/recent-projects/comissioned-tests/Part of the challenge with our approach is that the traditional AV testing methodologies don't always do a good job of measuring how we work. Some of them are willing to work with us, others aren't and we've just opted to not be included in their tests (looking at you AV Comparatives
)
Thanks!. I noticed you guys were missing from AV comparatives. What part of their testing makes it incompatible with your product?
Seems that M$ didnt make this easy for me. We have a "Patient Sign In" touchscreen available in our Lobby. Im having a horrible time trying to disable the taskview and action center that come up when you swipe from the left or right. We have IE in Kiosk mode.
Anyone have any pointers or suggestions for this?
@Nic Thanks Nic. BTW do you have any sources for AV comparisons or detection rates so that I can use them to compare detection rates, etc?
@Nic said in Asus RoG Rocking the WebRoot Secure Anywhere:
We have done contract buyouts before. Let me know if you want to talk to someone here.
wow i completely missed this. Ill speak to the Director.
Nic the funny thing is that I deployed your software to the company this week with a Trial offering to help with the Zepto infection. Took me about an hour or so.
Tickets just went on sale at Billy Bob's in Ft Worth. Concert is Nov 12th!
