Just ordered a waffle maker with prime same day delivery. That will be late lunch or dinner depending on when it arrives.
We recently scored a 1950s-60s era waffle maker from my gf's grandparents. Near perfect condition, works a charm, and best of all.... NO SAFETY FEATURES!!!! The little "indicator light" to tell you it's powered on is actually a hole in the outer shell with a lens that glows orange because the old school heating coils behind it are glowing red. Old style, 2-prong, non-grounded cord. It also opens out flat and you can flip the inserts over to make pancakes or grilled cheese. And it's chrome.
Those are the best.
Well the BEST waffle maker and Belgian girls, but short of that...
I feel like I need a Belgian girl to make me waffles.
Everyone needs one.
I could house 2 or 3. They might come in handy.
