Is it possible to clone my running bootable USB's while my HALizard pool is running?

Or should I pull the power cords from the primary server, pull the USB, clone it and then do the same for the secondary?

Should be doable while it is running live.

God I hope you're right lol....

It took forever to stand up the systems, I don't want to repeat it lol.

No, nothing before it says "done." Which it doesn't actually say, it just returns.

DD has no idea how long it will take as it has no idea how big what it is doing is. It just reads one block at a time and writes one. It knows about how long each block will take, but it doesn't know how many there are or if they are uniform.

Thanks for confirming, I wanted to check and make sure I didn't mess it up.

You can use PV but I don't know if that is installed in the default image. It also might slow the process down although not noticeably.

Xen XAPI api is not running on this .... F8 to try and start it.

So I cloned on a system that isn't critical, and when I try to boot off of the clone that is what I get.

                        Any ideas?
