              $200 is for their EV (StartSSL™ Extended Validation) product. I believe that they are offering the base StartEncrypt service for free.

                I used to use them for their free certs until I got into the LetEncrypt beta. StartCom ain't bad at all.

                  @dafyre Agreed. I think that LetsEncrypt built a better "mouse trap" and no StartCom is playing catch up...

                      The annoying part I didn't get through last night is that I now have to remove all the StartCom certs from the trusted stores 😡
