Iphones and Exchange sync problems

I've rarely seen issues with Exchange and iPhones, but when they do occur, just remove the account and re-add it.
The problems often go away and don't show back up.

Add another one here to the camp.
We had a lot of strange problems when we use MDameon''s Activesync product, but when some of the users switched to Exchange all of the problems went away.

It's not an exchange problem from what I've seen (here anyway). It doesn't apply across the board just to a device here and there.

iPhone falls over about as often as Outlook does.
I've needed to rebuild Outlook profiles & iPhone Exchange accounts numerous times, with either you are using a local database which contains your emails/calendars/contacts. Sadly there is no way to solve this.
So it's not Exchange being wrong. It's just how these apps work. iPhones seem to be more miss than hit with issues, whether it's having to forget a wifi network and re-enter credentials or some other bit of fun.

I've not seen an issue with my iPhone talking to Exchange in many years.

My move to O365 has been flawless.
I've actually been amazed.
Of course, now that I've said that...

How did the migration go? I've heard of issues occurring but haven't done it myself yet

Did a hard reset on the phone and still have the red outlined circle with a red i in the middle, this time with the phone only having a local calendar - no iCloud account activated, etc.
Then I add Exchange, which disables the local phone calendar, and I still have a red i.
WTF? There seems to be no real information about this on the interwebs.

Mine has those too. Its the button that lets you change what color those calendar items are

Sorry sir, that is not true. For many years there was no red i, you just tapped on the one you wanted to change (still do) and you get a new screen with the options.
JB posted a private picture where he has the red i on some things and not others...

I just looked I have them on all mine, too. Except the "ALL" calendar options.
-
@Dashrender For many years there was a blue one, if you just tap on the name of the calendar from the screen you were on it turns the calender view off.
