Cockpit Issue
-
Not sure if I'm missing something simple but I have a bit of an issue with cockpit. When I browse to https://server:9090 cockpit brings up a windows authentication window.
OK I can just click Cancel and then log in with the Linux details but why is it happening?

Edge is trying to be helpful. I'm guessing it sees the logon and is offering the ability to hold logon credentials for you.

There are pretty typical type logon boxes that the website can ask for instead of typing directly into the webpage.
I think that this box can also tie into SSO with Windows logon, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

I haven't seen this, but I've used it only from a Linux machine.
