Excel issues

Is anyone else experiencing issues with Excel or any Office programs.
We have 3-4 users that have excel crash on them all the time. Even if you select a new blank document it crashes.
With one user we have replaced the laptop 3 times with a new one and even upgraded to Office 2016 but some sheets still crash, even thou they can be opened on other peoples machines (same make model of laptop) fine!

LibreOffice Calc running solidly here Never have had it crash, ever.

Are the normal.dotx and whatever Excel's default template is, corrupt?

How do you find using it with Microsoft Office documents and spreadsheets?
Might install it instead and transfer the Office to someone else. -
Does the same user have roaming profiles by any chance?

Nope we don't tend to use them at all,

I have a user who has display issues that might be related to drivers, not this exact issue.
The biggest issue people have with converting from MS Office to LibreOffice is that they often have macro's that don;t work when they convert.
To boot they don't know how to update the macro to work in LibreOffice.

That's like learning anything new. Heck even version upgrades where things change
