Solved Cannot Connect to PocketMine
-
Does anyone have experience with PocketMine? I am running the latest version and it appears to be running just fine. I have both UDP and TCP 19132 exposed and TCP is definitely working fine. I've tried turning off the server's firewall just in case it was causing an issue. No errors on the server, it looks perfectly health. But I cannot get any Minecraft PE or Minecraft Windows 10 Edition to connect.
I'm new to PocketMine, but I don't see any reporting to tell me if clients are attempting to connect but failing or anything like that. I've tried several clients and they all just fail as if the server just isn't there.

can you run PE on the server itself as a test?

Not as far as I know, how would one do that? PE is only available for iOS and Android, right?

Server is CentOS

Success. Wrong build type, documentation from vendor is bad. Full docs coming tomorrow! Thanks!

And windows mobile (I play it on Windows Phone 8.1)

And the new Windows 10 Edition.

There a question, is the new Windows 10 edition considered a PE version?
Clearly iOS, Android and Windows Mobile are all called PE, don't know about Windows 10 edition.

We went down this road in the other thread.
Yes Windows 10 Editions is PE, but not called PE.

Not called PE and it is a different codebase, too. From what I can tell, PE is binary and Windows 10 Ed is JavaScript.

Here is the thread with the fix.: http://mangolassi.it/topic/7605/installing-pocketmine-minecraft-pe-server-on-centos-7
