We are busy testing EspoCRM running on A Small Orange. It was installed last night, no issues there. This is a pretty standard design PHP application talking to MySQL. This is our first time working with EspoCRM and we used ASO's built in installer to make sure we were doing everything in the standard, expected way.

The install went fine and the site is up and "working". But what we are finding is that the application does not seem to actually "do" anything. It appears to be frozen whenever we want to do something that requires more than just changing pages.

Anyone have any experience with EspoCRM?

Have you compared it to their demo site? http://demo.espocrm.com/basic/

Try doing some basic tasks in each to see if they both react the same?

I have not used it. I did use Zurmo for a while and it was pretty nice IMO.

@johnhooks Zurmo is on our list to look at. What did you like about it? Anything specific?

I liked the interface a lot. It was pretty easy to use. I didn't use nearly all of the features. Mostly just to track possible website jobs and some other small stuff. It was one of the only free ones that had a nice mobile interface at the time.
