Epic social media fail by US Airways

Well, airlines are always trying to promote flights to the newest, most interesting destinations...

That would be one of the oldest destinations though.

Good point.

Wow, that is freaking funny. Have you ever had anyone on your social media team do that?
-
What if it wasn't a mistake... they say no publicity is bad publicity.

I know that Jaime accidentally tweeted a taco pic to the @spiceworks handle instead of her personal one, but that was pretty harmless. I've never had anyone accidentally share an image of that...caliber.

A picture of her taco? That could be minor or a big deal, depending on context

No, a food taco silly
-
Ah. A food taco!
Like from popular Dallas area chains like Fuzzy Taco nor the California chain Pink Taco.

I think they should start their own website.... xxxairways

Blind re-tweeting by someone who I'm sure go their bachelor's degree or higher as a "Social Media Expert".

Here's what I know about how the tweet happened. Apparently someone tweeted the photo to US Airways earlier that day. Here's my assumption of what happened next: their twitter person copied the link to share with friends and coworkers as something amusing. Then they tried to paste the link to their feedback form into a brand new tweet, and didn't realize that their clipboard still had the link to the twitter photo in it. Apparently they used it in two different tweets before they realized what had happened.

Just a bit north of that.
I couldnt think of a clever pun for that, but is close enough

Good to know - thanks for that correction!
