        Should be noted that this is done by default in Windows 10.

        Go into CMD Properties.

        And enable QuickEdit Mode

          You've been able to copy paste from the command prompt without enabling that for a good while.. You just copy and then right in the command prompt window to paste. Or to copy from the command prompt you select the text and then it's copied and you can paste it elsewhere.

            Also should note that I doubt I will ever copy/paste into a command prompt without going to the menu because it is a habit anymore.

              I'm confused. Why would you want to do this instead of selecting Right-Click then Paste?

              And what do you mean "this is done by default in Windows 10"? The Quick Edit mode isn't checked on my PC (and I don't understand why I would want it to be).
