A Small Orange Softaculous Software

I'm going to be digging through this list for a very long time, lol.
-
Some highlights include ownCloud, ProjectSend, WordPress, Ghost and several CRM and ERP solutions.

@scottalanmiller Even though this is an old thread, I got a ?
For WP and osTicket, trying to choose between ASO and A2.
Any preferences?

ASO sucks in the service department. They are now know to take months to reply to tickets, and office have random issues.

I had a lot of this back and forth when I was making the same pick, @FATeknollogee
A lot of the ML and GS people (@Minion-Queen and @scottalanmiller) love ASO, but there were a handful of negatives as well.

They removed their google profile cause it had so many negative reviews, disabled reviews and "post by others" on their facebook page. And they delete most comments on facebook they have no interest in interacting with customers, they want to hide reality.

I know @scottalanmiller likes ASO, not so sure about anyone else around here.

How do they handle Drupal updates? If you don't have cli access then you have to replace the whole Drupal install. That's the issue with the one click installers on shared hosting, they give you usually a version 2 or 3 releases behind, sometimes more.
-
That's not really a credit to ASO, as much as it is to Softaculous. That seems to be the platform many web hosting companies are using since it integrates so nicely into Cpanel.

Here is a list directly from Softaculous. Again, this has nothing to do with ASO almost all hosting companies use Softaculous
