Syberia is free on GOG.com today. A classic adventure game.
-
currently pre-loading Star Wars battlefront II on origin. I'm very hopeful in regards to things they may have tweaked since the first new incarnation. People who prefer single-player don't deserve to be ignored.
Also playing a lot of Middle-Earth Shadow of War, because the new and improved version of the Nemesis System from the original game makes everything much more interesting. And unique. I love having a game where it doesn't feel like my enemies and antagonists are waiting for me to come kill them. Instead, a majority of them rope in their allies and come after me!

Hanging out with Liesl and playing Skyrim.

Finally installed Starpoint Gemini after having it for quite a while. Looks good so far, but I've only played for a little while.
-
It’s been skyrim all day. Watching my daughter play right now.

Anyone ever heard of https://liquidsky.com/ ? I met one of the Dev's for it and we had a pretty awesome conversation about some of the technology that goes into it. It's a work in progress, but there is a free trial currently. I was given a lot of time to play with it via this Dev and I played a lot of games I typically play for about 15 minutes a piece each. I have to say I'm very impressed with the lack of input latency. I did notice that there was a good amount of slowdown on Doom, but it is a work in progress as I said. I'm pretty impressed though overall.

@kelly Which one? 1, 2 or Warlords? Theyre all good, but 2 comes with a remake of 1 built in, Warlords adds bunch more stuff to the formula of 2.

This looks amazing if they can deliver on their promise. If you assume a 5 year upgrade cycle it would give you a $1,200 budget. That sets the bar pretty low for them to provide the service. I wonder how it does on high latency connections, and how much bandwidth it uses.

Dang. I found a Kerbal stuffed toy in X Rebirth and lost the screenshot.

I used this on a basic Windows laptop and the games played respectably well over WiFi and my cable connection. It worked well enough I was able to play a few games on my Steam account with no issue.

I'd really like to try it on my fiber and wired systems here at home.
