Cisco Phone System
-
How hard is a CUCM/Cisco phone system to install and configure yourself instead of contracting it out. I have a lot of experience with other VoIP phone systems, Astrisks, Digium Switchvox, Mitel, etc. Is this hard for someone who's familiar with phone systems and networking to do on their own?

Should not be hard for you at all. I would anticipate no major issues.

Cisco has some proprietary terms and such, but it should not be too hard to setup from what I understand.

Part of Cisco's design goal is to make it easier than, say, an Asterisk system. That's a major part of their selling point and value.

It is actually pretty difficult comparatively to other systems. I have worked with more than a few and I am not a fan of the complexity there.
