UBNT UniFi Camera / NVR issue.
-
Had a issue come up about a week ago that I have been fighting with since.
A UBNT UniFi NVR system seems to have defaulted itself (or by users hand). I am in the process of setting it back up but having issues with it.
I can log into it via SSH; I can log into it via the UniFi software on 127.0.0.1; I cannot log into it via the NVRs IP address.
I force defaulted it via SSH last week, but still am not able to access it by any other means. I have question posted to the UBNT forum, but no reply yet.
Does anyone have a UBNT NVR running?
Looks like some minor issue uploading still.

We will let everyone know when the Imgur plugin is fixed. Assume you have to link images until then.

Linked it from the UBNT Forum thread.

Have you checked to see if there are any issues in the associated log files? Is the firewall enabled blocking traffic?

Is your NVR set to a static IP? Mine is DHCP, and anytime I reboot it, it gets a different IP (even though that scope is only 4% utilized). UBNT has a discovery tool that will show camera and NVR IPs and MACs.

Can you get to any login page by http://[deviceIP] without the port number?

Yes, I can get to the Device page via the HTTP://IP. But when you click on the center image to log in, it gives you the page can not be displayed.
The gear - to configure device will allow me to sign in, but that is it. that just configures the IP and such. It is set for Static IP.

This sounds like the port isn't open. Especially since you can access it via localhost but not the via the network. Not sure what the backend to the NVR is but you could try disabling the firewall temporarily to see if that resolves it.

Connected again after defaulting the NVR again.
I have the cameras 'adopted' but they are showing disconnected still....
