We've been buying all of these books for the last decade or so. She's read them all, but I haven't had a chance to read any of them. Still on my to-do list. I did the The Visitation movie, but I'm sure its not as good as the book.

I have difficulty finding time to read. If I had time I would like to read the Codex Alera books again. It seems the only time I have is driving to and from work. I wonder if they have audio books???

Thinking about what to read to the kids after this. Luciana has requested The Lord of the Rings but I don't think that they would be engaged enough for it. I'm thinking Dragons of Autumn Twilight would be a good one to start them on.

If you want a fantasy series, the dragon lance saga is a good classic style.
If you want something with more female role models, look at the Pern series from Anne McCaffrey.

@jaredbusch Have you read any of L Ron Hubbard's books? A friend of mine was explaining how great he was as a science fiction author (if you just ignore Scientology). I was considering picking up some of his works to see what the deal was
