Is there a way to see which keys were used to install server 2012, 2012 r2 and server 2008 r2? The last guy did not document that and any of the scripts meant for windows desktop version just returns garbage with just N's and B's.

Ah, that means it's a KMS key... I'm not even sure where the KMS server is then. Didn't know I had one.

Ah, that could do it. Might try going through your Microsoft License Portal.

                      I was wondering this.

In a business your size, I'd be amazed if you didn't have one.

Open up a command prompt as admin... then:

                          slmgr / dlv

It should show you your licensing server that way.

Huh? I know about that. That's not the KMS Server though.

Found it. It was on a random SQL server.
