Who wants some servers? We've got big ones, little ones, ones the size of your head.
Anyone interested in some cool servers?
At a minimum we have four SunFires and a few Proliants to liquidate. Here is the current list that we are parting with to cut (or make more space?) in the lab...
- Sun SunFire V240 (x2) We don't have the system password, you need to reset.
- Sun SunFire V100 (x2)
- HP Proliant DL145 G2
Random stuff...
- Dead Drobo B800i - maybe you can fix it, it's an empty chassis that stopped working and got replaced.

SunFire V240 are nice units. When I was at the bank, these were used in production still and ran like tanks.

SunFire V100, tiny little Sparc server that uses ATA drives. Nice to play around with.

All stock pictures, not our own gear. I'm too lazy for that.

Don't remember. Single CPU I think. Obviously AMD64 genuine AMD as that is what the DL145 line is.

Can you do virtualization on those DL145 g2's? Do they come with drives?

The Drobo is already claimed. Everything is free you just have to pay for shipping to receive.

Pretty sure the AMD's that came in those units could do Virtualization. Don't think they could do Pass through hardware support though.

As in PCI passthrough and things like that? Looks like they support up to 8GB. Is that right?

The processors did. The DL145 BIOS does not. It blocks virtualization in the DL1XX series.

Yup, it was to sell the DL3xx series.

If you guys think the DL145 will be OK for a PFSense box... I'll take it.
