Installing ownCloud on CentOS 7
-
Was looking at a few options for cloud hosted ownCloud and found that the CentOS 7 option was too easy to beat. Here are the full installation instructions:
cd /etc/yum.repos.d/ wget http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/isv:ownCloud:community/CentOS_CentOS-7/isv:ownCloud:community.repo yum install owncloud
You will want to install a database to use as well, MariaDB or PostgreSQL.
You can access the running system http://url/ownclowd/

Since you have that thread about testing out Vultr...
They don't explain it very well there but you can spin up a VM with OwnCloud already installed and ready to go.
It runs on CentOS 6, but still very handy!
