Amazon is increasing their Prime fees by 20%: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/04/26/amazon-prime-increase-strays-from-bezos-charge-less-promise.html.
And in other news, searches on Google for Amazon alternatives spike (just speculating).

Really? If you buy one cup of coffee per day that is $17 per cup. If you buy two per day that is $8.50 per cup. Maybe in NYC it is that high, but not most places that I've been.
Either way, the relative cost doesn't matter. It is more that the cost may now exceed the value for many. I don't know that I derive more than $120 worth of value from Amazon Prime.

Yeah I'm on the fence now too. I don't watch much and won't likely miss not having amazon video services (included with Prime), Don't use the music part of it. Basically only use it for the shipping.

@kelly Im talking about per month. if you goto starbucks you pay 5/day, at least. 25-30 days in a month, more than Prime membership for a year. Even if you pay only a dollar a day for coffee, that is still more than the cost of Prime membership.
Also, Dunkin Donuts and McDs dont count as coffee. -

Also, Dunkin Donuts and McDs dont count as coffee. That makes more sense. In your reply you stated per week.

Also, Dunkin Donuts and McDs dont count as coffee.Um.... McD's blows Starbucks out of the water on coffee. And Starbucks is under $2 for coffee. it might not be good, but it's not THAT expensive. More expensive that better McD's for $.99, though.

I will disagree that either one is better than the other. There is basically no difference.
That said, cost is different.

Schaumburg, Cook County, Illinois. Only way I could have higher would be to actually be in the Chicago city limits
-
But it looks like they break it out a bit different so the coffee is a bit cheaper.
