      @rojoloco That's illegal.

      Kodi clearly has a bad rap like Napster did. Napster could be used for legal things, definitely, the reality is that it rarely was use for legal means.

      Just about everything illegally done electronically is done on Windows and Linux... should we all stop using those too?

      Those systems were used for legal things long before the illegal things - so they've become known in a positive light. Napster and Kodi became known to the public mainly because of their illegal usability...

      I've only heard that here.

      Really - you've heard the general public learn/hear that Windows and Linux are used for illegal things before those same general public learned that it was usable for legal things?

      no, that Kodi is used for illegal stuff instead of as a media player.

      That is only in your little world of not watch/checking mass media.

        OH - well I only heard about it after visiting a friend who was playing Captain America on his TV at home hours after I saw it in the theater opening day. I was like ' what the what?'

        He was like oh yeah, this kodi thing - get all the pirated movies you want.

        Otherwise I've heard of nearly zero people talking about it in general.

            Kodi has been around for a really long time, this was a major media player for forever.

              It's not even Kodi that does it, just plugins. Very different things.

                      Yup, I've been familiar with it since 2002 when it first came out. I used to use some competitors of it back then. I never liked it as much as some others, but it got more attention over time.

                              An interesting take on how the logistics industry could reinvent itself.

                                      It's about time. A lot of weird stuff on kids youtube. We eventually had to tell the kids to quit watching it.
