                                However, human drivers will still steer all the lorries in the convoy.

                                That seems like a bad idea. Now you have a driver who can't see much because they are up the arse of the truck in front of them.

                                      According to TRL, other trials have seen improvements in fuel economy of between 4% and 10%.

                                      That's actually pretty substantial for these types of trucks. I'll be impressed if those numbers are maintained over the life of the trial.

                                            Nor is it in any way likely. There is nothing overtly criminal that they've been accused of and that they are being hunted BY people who need to break the law to come up with ways to get them suggests that they are not criminals. It doesn't make it so, but it suggests it. Bad people go after the good guys, good people go after the bad guys.
